We'’ve been all around Willenhall and Wolverhampton today showing the big person and small (but not as small as me) person around. It has been rather tiring and I’m in need of lots of rest.

A quick note on video blogging. The previous two entries were one made from someone elses digital camera and from a webcam. Haven’t sorted out compression formats yet so the webcam isn’t much of an option. Therefore video blogging is a bit problematic as the big people I live with can’t afford a digital video camera but I will try and borrow one from someone or if anyone would care to buy me one I’d be very obliged.

It is about half past one in the morning an the big person who doesn’t feed me has return tothe house with another big person and a small person (who is a bit bigger than me). I recognise them from when we were in Germany in Summer. Unfortunately I don’t have any time to play with them tonight as I am being urged to go to bed now. So I’ll let you know tomorrow about developments.

I was doing my normal rounds of crawling around the living room today and something wasn’t right. In fact something was decidedly wrong. Now I must mention that as a small person, we get very used to things being as we previously found them. Big people beware, moving lots of stuff around in the house disorientates us.

However in this case we are not dealing with something that has moved. Moreover it is something (big white thing attached to the wall) that is different. Previously when I have investigated it, it has been cold. However today it was warm, not hot in the case of too hot to touch but warmer than it had been. In fact, I think it was warming up the whole room.

I heard the big people mention that they had to put the heating on? So my question is: what’s the warm thing on the wall all about?

On our travels to the office in Walsall today I came across some new Big People. But as well as that there were also two medium sized people. Not as small as me but not as big as the Big People. This is getting rather too confusing at times.

I have also heard a rumour that two people are coming to stay with us on Sunday. I think it is two of the people I met while I was in Germany in summer and they are somehow connected to the Big Person who lives with me and feeds me. I will keep you all posted on developments.

Well, finally the Formula 1 season has finished with a rather good race in terms of driving if not the result. I’m already waiting for the next season to start - I’m afraid it’s going to be a very long wait. Hopefully McLaren will have some better results next year and Lewis Hamilton will be driving because I’m not too keen on the other guy who needs to shave his eyebrows.

In addition to my forays into the world of standing up. I’ve also been practising my speech over the last few days. No discernible words in either English, German or Finnish yet but very much getting there with my articulation.

Today we went for a long walk all the way around the centre of Wolverhampton with another Big Person. Unfortunately it was so long I missed my afternoon snooze so I have been having problems getting off to sleep tonight as it has interrupted my normal routine.

As I’ve now gotten over the cold and am back to my normal busy, happy, non-sneezing self, I have been practicing my standing technique. I’ve been crawling and climbing up things for three months now, but independent standing hasn’t come along as of yet. So I have been giving it a go the last few days as walking seems a far better way of getting around than crawling.

So far it’s been a slow start. Can do the standing up bit, but unfortunately I’m ending up back on my bottom after a few seconds. Will keep you updated on progress.

I have for the past couple of days not been feeling too well and also a bit irritable. Apparently I have something called a ‘cold’. It is the first time I have had one of these and they are not particularly pleasant. I do hope to avoid them in the future. On a lighter note, I seem to have given the cold the big person who doesn’t feed me which is rather amusing to see him sneezing.

For those wondering if I was on speed in my last video blog I can guarantee I wasn’t. The clip was 20 seconds long before I uploaded it and for some reason it compressed down to 3. However it actually seemed a lot funnier like that so I left it.
