I am of course already honing my skills as a racing driver for my future career as a Formula 1 driver. However I had my first accident today. I ran over my Grandad’s head in my go-kart. He has a headache now. I’m very sorry.
Had a busy day at my grandparents playing and of course watching the Spanish Grand Prix. All tired out now so off to bed, need lots of rest, my tenth tooth is coming through and my gums are a bit painful at the moment that is making me a little grumpy at times.
Papa didn’t let me stay up all night to watch the Australian Grand Prix so I had to watch the rerun on RTL this morning. I also managed to watch it again this afternoon at Papa’s parents house on ITV.
I was very happy for a change. Last season wasn’t that good but this one looks promising. I of course was very pleased to see Lewis Hamilton do so well in his first race. I wish him all the luck for the rest of the season.
To be honest, my first year of supporting McLaren in Formula 1 hasn’t been that exciting, given it’s been the first season we haven’t won a race in over a decade. However, with Lewis Hamilton coming to McLaren as probably the best British driver in a generation (my papa told me that) and the sheer joy to see my namesake and the man whom I was named after doing some testing and development work with the team, it’s really looking up.
Oh, and that Spanish guy is driving for us who is apparently quite good too. Sorry, not too keen on him, so come on Lewis.
Well, finally the Formula 1 season has finished with a rather good race in terms of driving if not the result. I’m already waiting for the next season to start - I’m afraid it’s going to be a very long wait. Hopefully McLaren will have some better results next year and Lewis Hamilton will be driving because I’m not too keen on the other guy who needs to shave his eyebrows.
Oh well, I guess it was coming but it’s sad to see Kimi leave McLaren for Ferrari. On a plus note, Lewis Hamilton is going to test an F1 car soon so perhaps he will be stepping up. Hopefully in the McLaren and not some lower end team. Would be good to see someone really challenge Alonso next year.
It’s been a busy week again. Now this may sound strange, but once a day, when I very quietly and politely inform the big people that I live with that I am hungry. Instead of the big person who currently has black hair (not red, brown or purple) feeding me with milk. She disappears downstairs and comes back with this orange stuff in a jar and then uses a plastic thing to put it in my mouth. It’s fairly tasty and I can eat a whole jar of it now but can someone tell me what it’s all about? On a lighter note, the Grand Prix went reasonably well today. Shame about Kimi but was very nice to see Pedro on the second step of the podium. Pity it wasn’t one place higher but never mind. There is also another question that has been posed to me. What the bloody hell are these white hard things appearing in my mouth? They are bloody painful.
Watched the British Grand Prix today, OK not the result I would have wanted as Kimi only came third, but a lot better than some of our results this year, hopefully things will get better.
Didn’t have much time yesterday to post but did enjoy watching Germany win 4-2 and making sure the big people picked lots of yummy spinach from the garden for me. As for today, again, very busy with the sport, Kimi is 2nd on the grid for the British GP so I’m very happy about that and of course England won their first match in the World Cup. Currently getting the non-red headed person who I live with to hang out the England flag on the house. Oh, and I’ve realised one thing, I hate the bloody hot weather, it’s really uncomfortable and makes me irritable.
