Tidying up

December 7th, 2007

I’m quite sure but Papa doesn’t seem to be very impressed with my desire to keep the house tidy. All I did was go through his coat pockets and put them all in the bin. I can’t possibly understand what it was in there that he didn’t want to throw away. It all looked like junk to me.

It’s all very well pushing your cars around but what every eighteen month old really hankers after is to be able to put your foot down and off you go. Thankfully Grandma and Granddad spotted this nice little motor up in Walsall and got it for me.

It only does a couple of miles an hour top speed but I’ve already got the hang of driving round in circles but sadly it doesn’t have enough oomph for donuts on the living room floor.

Cabbage patch kid

OK, not exactly as I haven’t been instructing Papa to grow any cabbages this year but here’s me with the broccoli and kohl rabi, just waiting for it to all grow so I can munch on it.

I don’t know

September 1st, 2007

When you’re little like me, you expect that when you go round to your grandparents house they will worship you and buy you lots of nice things to play with, not make you do the washing up.

Of course they have bought me something. A nice little ladder so I can reach the sink.

Back home

August 28th, 2007

Yes, to the little house in Willenhall with a broadband connection. Finally I can get my posts uploaded to my blog. I’ve altered the timestamps to keep them in order and to reflect the days the events took place, it would have been very silly to say this happened on this or that date.
I’m off to bed now, been up far too long but wanted to get all this done out of the way.

Something is going on

August 25th, 2007

I think Mama and Papa are preparing for something. Today she went shopping and bought lots of things and later in the day lots of family came around for a barbecue in which I ate a whole bratwurst to myself, followed by a yummy banana later on in the evening. Everyone was saying lots of goodbyes to Mama and Papa so I think we might be going somewhere.
I hope it is back to the little house that we normally live in because that one has a broadband connection and I can finally get my posts back up on my blog.

Across the border to the East

August 24th, 2007

We all got up very early today and went for a drive in Opa’s car, he drove this time instead of Mama. When we got out we had to walk passed all these people in uniforms who checked things from the big people so that we could walk over a bridge to this place with lots of market stalls where all the people didn’t speak either English or German. I think I heard someone say it was something called Polish.

I quite liked it there because Mama and Papa bought me lots of toys and clothes which apparently were a lot cheaper than on the other side of the bridge. Note to self, must read up more about comparative economics.

A day out

August 22nd, 2007

Today we all got into Opa’s brmm brmm and went for a drive to this big place with lots of animals. There were also lots of little people like me running around and my cousin Philipp came too. I got quite tired from all the walking after a while and I think Mama and Papa were too tired to carry me so I hitched a ride on Opa for a while and I think he enjoyed it. We watched all the children’s brmm brmms driving around but I’m still to small to go on them yet, I can’t reach the pedals and then we watched a big digger moving lots of dirt around.
I was getting a bit tired after all that myself so when Opa drove us back I decided to have a nice snooze in my specially designed for little people seat.

In the big city

August 20th, 2007

We all went out to the big city today. It’s a bit like Wolverhampton back home but bigger. Opa parked his brmm brmm in a place underground with lots of other brmm brmms and instead of me walking I got pushed around all day in my chauffeur driven transport. It gave me time to generally look cute and attract the attention of other people, not to mention having a well earned rest and saving up my energy for playing in the garden later.
We went to lots of book shops and Mama who as well as being a chocolate monster is also a book monster, bought some books. One of them is about a boy called Jorg who ate too many sweets and chocolate which made his teeth hurt. I have the sneaky suspicion that she is trying to tell me something.

A trim

August 19th, 2007

Philipps Mama who is somehow related to my Mama came around today. She started off by cutting Oma’s hair but then Mama got me to sit on her lap and she cut my hair as well. I wasn’t so happy about it at the start because I liked my hair where it was but afterwards it was much better because it didn’t get in my eyes any more and my head felt a lot lighter for some reason.
After she cut my hair, she cut Papa’s hair and he looks silly now. It’s all short like mine whereas before he had floppy bits.
